Our Vision
John and Nilda Cochrane - who have for many years been involved in supporting and helping orphan and poor children in Asia - were visiting Nilda's home city of Sorsogan (600 Km's south of Manila) and had a burden to help the many poor children who have little loving or caring adult support.  Most live in inadequate housing with little physical provision, many unable to even attend school or have even basic needs met.

The availability and gifting of a large block of land near the center of the city has meant that the dream of providing for these precious little ones can become a reality.

Planning is underway to provide suitable accommodation for boys and girls, from baby to adolescence age.

How will this happen?

By working alongside volunteers from within the Philippines - and with the enthusiastic help and support already offered by the local community and internationally - we can see the lives of children changed one child at a time.

There are provisions for housing volunteer from abroad with particular emphasis on short-term mission service.

Who are we and how did we start?

To offer a home for orphans and those children who have inadequate social and physical provision.

Our Mission
Sorsogon (population approx 1 million) is located at the southern most tip of Luzon, the Philippines main island.  It is 600 kms by road from Manila and one hour from the airport at Legaspi City, which is close to the famouse Mayon Volcano.

Sorsogon City has many fine beaches and tourist attractions including whale watching and hot springs etc..
How can you help?
By going, praying and giving.

By coming to help with the building state and by caring for the children.

By praying for direction, protection, provision and enabling of this God given vision.

By financially supporting the construction and with on going support for the children.
