Dear Brothers and Sisters
Praise the Lord! I know the blessings of the Lord are with you.
We just came back from Honduras. We had a tremendous time working with the Pastors and the churches. We had a convention with Pastor Tito Ramirez and the pastors that work under his covering. I ask Joshua a missionaries son from the capital, Tegucigalpa to minister the Friday and Saturday night services. He and 21 young people from Tegucigalpa blessed the church with highly anointed worship and ministry. God touched so many of the young people in this country town San Marcos. It was so good to see the young people flooding the altars and crying out to God. Floye and I ministered Saturday morning. We taught about the need for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and how to receive. We also gave the scriptures defining why the Baptism of the Spirit is a definite experience out side of salvation. Four denominational pastors attended the service. They all came forward for prayer with many of the young people at the end of the service. The Lord baptized many with His precious Spirit. What an honor to have the Living God come to live in our spirits. Sunday morning we ministered on the redemptive rights of the Christian. How the Lord has provided everything the Church needs to be triumful corporately and individually. The price has been paid. The Lord is waiting on the body to rightfully claim and receive what belongs to us. We prayed with all the Pastors and their wives. Afterwards, the church prayed for us to have favor and protection as we traveled on to Nicaragua.
We went on to Nicaragua Sunday afternoon. We took one taxi and two chicken buses to get to Ocutal, Nicaragua. One of the buses was a 60 passenger bus with about a hundred people on it. Floye had a big lady setting on top of her. It was hot and the atmosphere was charged with an unknown aroma.
We had a wonderful service with Pastor Midardo Marin. We had sent him to bible school back in the 80's. We laughed together as we remembered the difficult times at the bible school in El Tomate. We were going through difficult times financially and could only help the students with the very basic elements. He told me how they would look for wild animals to eat along with the corn and beans we furnished. There was no electricity, running water or any modern conveniences. Although the students went through some hardships, God molded them into precious jewels. Pastor Midardo is one of the pastor God is using in a beautiful way. Through your love gifts we were able to give him $200.00 for a down payment toward property for a church at the end of the war. He now has a beautiful church seating about 300. What a glorious time we had Sunday night celebrating mothers day with them. His 19 year old daughter Ana led the singing and worship under a great and precious anointing of the Lord. We took Ana, her mother and brother out of Honduras when she was a year old. We carried chickens, dogs, mattresses and many other household items along with them to Nicaragua. It is wonderful to see the children of these Pastors following after their parents.
We have another big seminar in Honduras in August and then go to the Philippine in September, if the Lord wills.
We appreciate your love, prayers and support as we go forward with the gospel.
God Bless
Joe and Floye Walters
